David House
With 35 years of experience in property development, David has earned a reputation for integrating big picture vision with logistical details critical to diligent implementation, execution and delivery. David specializes in delivering the combination of leadership, foresight, vision and attention to detail that has led to a remarkable record of wealth creation throughout his career. David has delivered residential developments in Dallas Texas, managed the Sherway Gardens regional mall in Ontario, and has orchestrated 3 of the last 6 major office developments in Toronto. David's background working with major institutional owners has given him insight into all facets of real estate development and marketing. He recently delivered the LEED platinum Centre for Green Cities at Brick Works which included the adaptive reuse of 16 existing buildings and adjacent open spaces for Evergreen. David has chosen to work only on deep green projects and is currently recognized by the industry and the media as a socially responsible developer who is addressing both immediate value creation and long-term operating strategies - in all of earthdevelopment's projects. David has provided sustainability design consulting services to Build Toronto and is a board member for the not-for-profit GreenSaver. He is an active contributor in the building science community.

Mark Johnson

Mark brings 10 years of measured skills in real estate development, specializing in financial modeling analysis, investment origination and underwriting. Mark Johnson has a strong track record of industry engagement through his involvement in major capital projects like 180 Queen Street and 18 York Street Toronto office developments. He has been engaged in over 4 million square feet of commercial and industrial property development while working for EllisDon and GWL Realty Advisors. Mark combines development acumen with financial rigour which together deliver risk mitigation and value creation strategies for earthdevelopment's clients.

Mark has an MBA from Nyenrode University as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Chris Pollard

A civil engineer with 10 years of experience in project management specializing in building science, mechanical contracting, BIM and renewable energy, Chris Pollard is distinguished by his engineering acumen in approaching complex problem solving. Chris has recently presided over the delivery of mechanical procurement, planning and execution of the LEED Platinum CanMet Materials Technology Laboratory, and delivered the first photovoltaic rooftop for Ontario's FIT program. While at EllisDon, Chris was Project Manager of the South tower for Frank Gehry's redesign of the Art Gallery of Ontario.


Chris holds a bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from University of Waterloo.

Amy Stein

With 20 years of experience in financial analysis and capital markets, Amy Stein is skilled in developing comprehensive financial frameworks for complex projects, ranging from micro to large-scale. She has gained expertise in financial problem-solving, and in sourcing debt and equity capital from institutional and individual investors. Most recently, as Director of Finance for Evergreen, Amy oversaw construction budgets, cash flow, business planning and operational start-up for Evergreen Brick Works, while scaling up core financial systems and organizational capacity to integrate the new business operations with Evergreen's ongoing programming. Her previous work includes investment banking with a focus on power & utilities, and managing a private fund that makes direct investments in small businesses.
 
Amy has an MBA from The Wharton School, as well as an MA in Economics and Honours BA in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.

Karen Pitre

Karen Pitre acts in an advisory role to earthdevelopment. She specializes in the development and implementation of community infrastructure projects, leveraged by her expertise in strategic planning and project management. Karen initiates and manages complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders to develop consensus and implement projects with challenging community issues. Karen’s clients include Metrolinx, Toronto District School Board, Toronto Lands Corporation, Waterfront Toronto and Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid.

Karen has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering, University of Toronto, 1983 and Bachelor of Laws, University of Windsor, 1987.
